Recent reports in the Times Union and local TV stations have highlighted the opening of new Barbershop called Stiletto's of Latham. The Times Union this morning reported that the town of Colonie, "citing concerns that one of the people involved [in the opening of the barber shop] is about to be sentenced for promoting prostitution, town officials revoked zoning approval for a new barbershop where scantily clad staff."

Stiletto Salon located at 1315 Central Avenue, is in no way associated with the Barbershop that was seeking a license to do business in Latham.

Stiletto Salon is a certified Redken salon, with the highest Redken trained staff in the capital region. The salon was opened by it owner, Chris Galeo, in November 2006 and since that time has gained a reputation for excellence even being featured in Success Magazine.
